On the 5/1/16, our media class went to watch Loose Women at the ITV Studios at Southbank.
While in there, I counted about 6 or 7 cameras placed around the room. There was one camera that was carried around for only a little while by a man.
There was a camera on a crane above the audience. There was a camera at each side of the studio. There was a camera at the back of the audience that wasn't there all of the time and there was a camera above the women facing the audience.
The atmosphere in the studio was a happy and excited atmosphere. The man who talked to the audience made everybody laugh and in a good mood.
The TV studio team were really calm about filming live and it was nice to see how relaxed they were getting ready to record.
The set was very bright and welcoming. It It was very different to how I thought it was going to be, it was pretty small. There were about 50 people in the audience and most of the audience were women/ old women. Except for our college, there was only about 1 maybe 2 men in the audience, this shows that Loose Women attracts the older women.
I think I learnt that a studio isn't as rushed around as I thought it would be, it was very calm instead. Also, I found out that there are loads of cameras in a studio and the cameras are huge compared to our college ones.
