Roles of the TV Studio

Director 

The director is responsible for telling everyone what to do. So they tell the vision mixers when to put up a picture and tell the sound mixers when to put on a sound. The director also tell the camera people when to change the position of the cameras. 

Vision Mixer

The vision mixer is in charge of putting the videos/pictures and camera views on the screen up at the right time. The vision mixer has to listen to commands from the director.  

Teleprompter

The teleprompter writes the script and is in control or the scrolling of the script, so changing how fast or how slow it is coming on the screen. 

Camera Operator

The camera operators are in charge of getting the correct shots of the actors/presenters and they also have to listen out for the directions from the director. 

Floor Manager

The floor manager has to listen for commands from the director. They do a countdown for the action show to begin and also give messages out from the director to people in the studio. 

Talent/Presenter

The actors have the job of acting/presenting and if they are presenting, they have to read the script from the main camera.

Sound Mixer

The sound mixer is in control of the sounds and taking commands from the director.
